snap crackle pop

Some artists have unique abilities to channel the ether. Parts & Labor rallies around a melody and melds their instruments in a bed of noise. They create anthems. Noise, discord, and abrasive vocals (not talking about Parts & Labor here…well noise maybe :P) generally all seem to have jarring and stress-inducing properties in music. That could be why I hear a lot of, “it would be fine if it weren’t for the screaming” from people. Snookered and Grunt are not this way in the slightest…whatever the effect you experience (for me: beauty, relief, nostalgia), in part, originates from the noise in their ink.
